Dissertation Defense of the Master's Degree Students in 2017

On December 19, 2017, the dissertation defense for master students of the Tribology Institute was held in Jialingjiang Road Campus. Professor Yang Peiran, Professor Wong Pat Lam of City University of Hong Kong and Professor Wang Xiaobo of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were invited to act as examiner chairs for the 14 students.

The dissertation defense started at 8:00 in the morning, and the students presented their research work and defended their dissertations. The examiners of the defense committee raised questions and commented on the student’s work. The oral defense ended successfully at around 4:30 pm. Professor Yang Peiran, on behalf of the defense committee, announced that 14 students successfully passed the dissertation defense and four students, Mr. Zhang Dong, Mr. Li Xianpeng, Mr. Ma longhua and Mr. Li Chao, got "excellent master thesis”. Ma Longhua gave a short speech on behalf of the students and express their deep gratitude to the supervisors, the School and the University. Prof. Guo Feng delivered congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the supervisors. Finally, students took group photos to record the exciting moment.
