Dissertation Defense of the Doctor's Degree Students in 2018

On June 16, 2018, the dissertation defense for doctor students of the Tribology Institute was held in Jialingjiang Campus. Professor Liu Yonghong of China University of Petroleum and Professor Zhang Dekun of China University of Mining and Technology were invited to act as chairman and vice chairman of the defense committee, respectively.

The dissertation defense started at 8:30 in the morning, and Ms. Yang Ping （ supervised  by Prof. Peiran Yang）, Li Shuyi and Bai Qinghua (supervised by Prof. Feng Guo) presented their research work and defended their dissertations. The examiners of the defense committee raised questions and commented on the students’ work. The oral defense ended successfully at around 12:00 pm. Professor Liu Yonghong, on behalf of the defense committee, announced that 3 students successfully passed the dissertation defense. Finally, all who participated in the meeting took group photos to record the exciting moment.
